Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College ( An AUTONOMOUS Institution )

Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), Coimbatore, founded in 1994 by SNR Sons Charitable Trust, is one of the trust's 17 institutions. Since 2003, the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi, has accredited and re-accredited seven Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College's B.E./ B.Tech programs. The departments collaborate closely with L&T, Bi-Metal Bearings, Roots Industries, Tech Mahindra, and other firms on consulting management development and joint projects. Dr. N R. Alamelu is the serving principal of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College in Coimbatore and the 2015 recipient of the ISTE-Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan National Award for Best Engineering College Principal.
